Ten chimps better than twelve?

I need some feedback here. I'm thinking of switching to a ten chimp rating system because of all the confusion with twelve. Ten seems to be what people would rather be rated on, because having twelve points makes it harder to determine what's good, better, and best in some peoples minds. Let me know if I should stick to the way it is now, or if ten makes more sense. Thanks!

It seems that if you do change to ten chimps, you'll either have to go back and recalibrate previous reviews, or risk people getting confused/thinking the ones rated 10 chimps out of 12 are just as good as ones rated 10 out of 10. If not for that, I think a 10 chimp system would be superior.

Yeah, if you're going to rank, may as well keep it simple. The lulz of the '12 monkeys' concept might be a bit out of reach for the old and young.

If you do 10 you might as well just do 5 with increments (half-chimps are funny). But I like your current rating system; "stars" should not be considered absolute and your maximum of 12 and choice of "chimps" emphasizes this.

I like that BurningBaby. I mean, I don't like a burning baby, I meant to say I liked what you said. Who ever said it was ten points and that's it?
